Thank You Never Seems Enough

Just Another Manic Monday

I realized tonight that I do not give Mondays a fair chance. I dislike them before they even arrive and I am grateful at their departure. I am not sure what it is...but every week I dread Monday. Perhaps because it is the furthest day away from the weekend? Or perhaps it is because I love Sunday so much that I cannot fathom having to go back to work/school/etc?

Whatever it is-I decided I have to give Monday another chance. I do not think our relationship is too far gone to be repaired. So next Monday I will relish in the fact that I have an opportunity to enjoy Monday and it will result in a great day!

Definitely will not be like today.

I read The Lovely Bones this week. I think I read it in two or three days-it was very interesting and I had to force myself to put it down so I wouldn't be a zombie at work. Though being Halloween week I suppose it would have been okay.

Worked on my quilt most of the afternoon-although it is not really work because I quite enjoy it!

Just finished watching a CES Fireside. President Uchtdorf was the speaking-it was AMAZING.

I hope the next 3 weeks go by super fast-I am eager to go to my grandparents and spend Thanksgiving week with them.

An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving

I rented this movie from RedBox tonight. It is a period piece based on a short story written by Louisa May Alcott. I thought it was a really cute story.  Probably not the best movie I've watched, but still enjoyable!

However, I almost always enjoy movies with faces like this in it...

A Teaser...

Well...my last sewing project was not turning out as planned, so I chucked it.

However, I FINALLY started another project. I have had the fabric cut for 3 months or something. It is a quilt for a 2 year old boy...hope the colors/patterns are boyish enough.

Still working on my sewing project...pictures to come (hopefully).

I recently purchase a CD called Reflections of Christ. I have been listening to it a lot. It is amazing-the singers have absolutely beautiful voices. They sing some of my favorite hymns and Amazing Grace is even included!

You, yes YOU, should check out THIS LINK! It is where I discovered the CD.

I have off of work today and tomorrow. They are slow at work and so do not have work for me. I am grateful for the days off. I had grand plans of accomplishing a lot...however I do not want to do a darn thing.

I have started laundry.

My brother and I might go see Where The Wild Things Are later today, if he ever gets out of bed.

I found a really cute tutorial for trick-or-treat bags. I decided I will set my sewing machine up today and attempt to make three bags...if all goes as planned I will put some pictures and a link up later today or tomorrow.

That is if I remember to buy batteries for my camera...
